Jana Kramer Shares Heartwarming Message As She Gets Baptized

Jana Kramer took the phrase 'New Year, New me' to a spiritual level that she felt unworthy of before!

Kramer has put her past behind her and walked into a new chapter of life and love as a devout Christian.

"The Holiday Fix Up" actress recently got baptized in an emotional ceremony and documented the experience on social media.

As seen in her Instagram post, Sunday, January 23, was no regular day in church for Kramer as she got baptized.

The mother-of-two uploaded a carousel of photos and videos detailing the occasion at the Crosspoint Church in Franklin, Tenn.

In one video, an emotional Kramer was dipped backward in a bath of water and reemerged with a smile on her face. She gushed in her caption:

"This is my battle cry. This is the day I stopped walking alone. The beauty is …I was never alone. He was always walking with me…I just didn't think I deserved that."

The actress's fans and friends sent their congratulations and well-wishes under the post. Tori Spelling wrote, "This is so raw and beautiful, mama. I love you."

Kramer held a frame in one photo with the capitalized words, "I got baptized today! January 23, 2022." She was surrounded by loved ones, including her daughter Jolie Rae and son Jace Joseph. 

The "Heart of the Country" actress shares the children with her estranged ex-husband Mike Caussin. Also present at her baptismal ceremony was her new partner Ian Schinelli.

The Blast previously disclosed that Kramer found love again following a split from Caussin after his unsuccessful battle with sex addiction and multiple cheating allegations.

The 38-year-old went Instagram official with Schinelli with a slideshow of them looking intimate and happy. She explained that she is healing from her past scars with him on her side.

Kramer noted in her caption that she stopped fighting her heart and listened to it. Though she has no idea what the future holds, she found joy in the personal trainer. 

The actress expressed that she has continued to work towards healing every day, but it feels nice to find happiness on her journey. She concluded with:

“To find someone who doesn’t look at your scars as a challenge or problem but rather helps you hold them and stands there to encourage you with love, strength, and empathy along the way.”

Kramer was involved in a love triangle following rumors that she was in a relationship with her friend Kristin Cavallari's ex-husband Jay Cutler.

Cutler and his ex-wife divorced in April 2020 following a seven-year union. Sources also claimed that the "Very Cavallari" star helped Kramer split with Caussin.

The Blast revealed that the "Love at First Bark" actress cleared the air on the situation on December 11, during her "Whine Down" podcast.

Kramer said, "Just because I went on a date with someone doesn't mean we're exclusive, and he's my boyfriend."

The "Whiskey" singer buttressed that they were never serious as insinuated by the gossip mills, but she did not speak up about the situation as she was unsure where they stood.

Kramer is a superwoman who never gave up on love despite facing two divorces, an abusive relationship, and a broken engagement, leading her to NFL star Mike Caussin.

The Blast shared that the former couple met on Twitter in summer 2014 and split shortly after meeting, but they reconciled and engaged that December.

The pair got married in 2015 and welcomed daughter Jolie in 2016, but their marriage was rocked with Caussin's infidelity seven months later.

The athlete entered rehab for sex addiction, and he and Kramer renewed their vows in 2017. They welcomed Jace in 2018. In 2019 the ex-wife found a woman's topless photos on Caussin's phone.

In 2020, Kramer received an Instagram DM that her husband cheated on her, leading to her divorce filing.

On her "Whine Down" podcast, Kramer told guest and legal representative Kathryn Woodard that her marriage was "literally like a drug."

The actress confessed that when Woodard served Caussin the divorce papers, the addict in her wanted him to "hold me and love me and tell me he's sorry and give me that hit."
