Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband just won a little victory in divorce court, after the singer agreed to give 5% of the couple's Montana ranch to him.

According to new legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Brandon Blackstock will receive 5.12% of the former couple's Montana ranch. The real estate amounts to $908,800 or the total $17,750,000 net worth of the property.

As we reported, the ranch has become a hotbed of arguments between the ex-couple after Blackstock told the court he was pursuing a career as a full-time rancher, after hanging up his music management shoes. During a recent divorce hearing, the judge ordered the ranch as Kelly's property, but she lost the bid to have him evicted from the premises. The talk show host wants to sell the property, but Blackstock argued he had no means to purchase a new home, and needed the ranch for his career.

"He has been living in it and said he doesn’t have the financial means to afford to purchase a residence of his own at this time, citing the unresolved financial aspect of their divorce," a source told UsWeekly. Adding, "Kelly recently had a major legal setback in a bid to get Brandon evicted from the Montana property that the judge awarded solely to her."

At the time, Blackstock argued that the home was "marital property" and continue to live in it since their 2020 split.

It should be noted, the new documents make it clear that Blackstock does not have any ownership interest in the property adjoining the ranch that is owned solely by Clarkson.
