Chrissy Teigen is celebrating 6 months of sobriety!
The former "Lip Sync Battle" host, 36, took to Instagram to celebrate being six months sober. She uploaded a set of pictures showing her in a black cropped top and matching jeans. Teigen completed her whole outfit with a brown suede jacket and boots in black, along with a belt.
Celebrating A Milestone
The model was snapped on the balcony of their Beverly Hills mansion. She posed by placing her right leg in front of the other while leaning on the handrail.
"6 months no alcohol! Honestly kind of sucks saying it because even though I don’t ever crave it now, time has not exactly flown by haha," Teigen wrote in the caption.
"I prob won’t be excited til a larger milestone like at leasssst 5 years, and sometimes I don’t even know if I necessarily won’t ever drink again? I have no idea what I’m doing honestly," she continued.
Teigen also shared that by not consuming alcohol, she has "endless energy, way less anxiety (no more benzos!) and I am *happier* and more present than ever," adding, "It’s pretty cool. I look forward to having my full body reset after 1 year, then reevaluating to see my new hopes and wishes for the future! Let’s goooo."

One of my adult sons (32) recently thanked me, he said that he and his brothers really valued that I was the one constant person they knew they could trust to be able to handle any situation they found theirselves in, needed a ride, advice, etc. so keep it up Chrissy! Your kids will thank you!" remarked the third user.

Happy With Her Progress
In September, Teigen posted a video on Instagram that showed her laying on a yoga mat during a workout session while her kids Luna, 5, and Miles, 3, made it difficult for her to finish her routine. In the caption, the TV personality opened up about her sobriety as she celebrated a milestone moment in her journey.
"Today is my 50 day sobriety streak! it should be nearly a year but I had a few (wine) hiccups in the road. This is my longest streak yet! I still dunno if I’ll never drink again but I do know it no longer serves me in ANY way," Teigen wrote.
"I don’t get more fun, I don’t dance, I don’t get relaxed. I get sick, fall asleep and wake up sick, having missed what was probably a fun night. I had my fun with it and appreciate anyone that can enjoy it responsibly!!!! this is also my third day this week working out which is unheard of for me, and my bears are notttt making it easy," she added.

Around late 2020, Teigen revealed she had stopped drinking after having a difficult year. In September that year, she and her husband, John Legend, 43, suffered a pregnancy loss following pregnancy complications with their late son, Jack.
She shared the sad news on Instagram on October 1.
"We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before," Teigen captioned the share, along with a couple of photos showing the tragic event.
"We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough," she continued.
