Britney Spears Takes Aim At Jamie Lynn And Her 'Very Pretty Face' In IG Reel

The feud between Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears is apparently not over yet!

For fans who are late to the feud, Jamie Lynn Spears went on “Good Morning America” last week to promote her upcoming memoir, "Things I Should Have Said" and Britney to say that Britney is not happy with it would be an understatement.

Britney immediately accused her little sister of making up stories to sell copies of her book. “Please please stop with these crazy lies for the Hollywood books,” Britney wrote in a long Twitter message to her sister.

Jamie Lynn responded to Britney’s message in her Instagram Stories, saying, “Nobody trashes your name more than someone who’s afraid you’ll tell people the truth.”

Britney fired back later that day with another long Twitter response.

“You say you love me … yet your loyalty is still with the people that hurt me the most,” she wrote. “I think the thing that saddens me the most is that when this all happened to me and when I called you from that place … you would take days to respond !!! I never got to talk to you !!! You would just text me days later and I was so scared … I needed you … my family, my blood and your support more than anything !!!”

Jamie Lynn posted a message to her Instagram Stories asking Britney to call her.

“Britney — just call me,” Jamie Lynn began.

“I have attempted many times to speak to you directly and handle this privately like sisters should, but you still choose to do everything on a public platform,” she continued.

“In the meantime, please stop continuing the narrative that I haven’t been there for you or that I’m making things up,” she went on. “I’m happy to share how many times I’ve reached out to you, supported you and tried to help you. This is embarrassing and has to stop. Love you.”

Things were quiet for about a day or two. Fans were finally relieved that the sisters had decided to try to settle things privately and air their grievances out of the public eye.

However, things heated up again after an apology that Britney allegedly sent her sister went viral on Tuesday morning. “In a recent text from my sister, she stated herself: ‘I know it’s not your fault and I’m sorry for being so angry at you. Although I’m your big sister, I need you more than you need me and always have,'” Jamie Lynn wrote in her new memoir.

It's unclear when Britney supposedly sent this text message to her sister, but it's included in the chapter of the book that talks about Britney's conservatorship court hearing in June 2021, when Britney said that her family "should be in jail" for benefiting from her 13-year conservatorship, which ended in November of last year.

It seems that Britney was not too happy with the text message going public, as she called out her sister in an Instagram reel on Tuesday afternoon - the same day her sister's memoir was officially released.

In an Instagram reel posted to her account on Tuesday afternoon, Britney called out her sister once again.

"In life a lot of people say 'DO I MATTER ????'" she began.

"Try eating alone for 4 months morning ... noon ... and night Jamie Lynn," she wrote.

"I asked myself every day 'DOES ANYBODY CARE ??? WTF ??? DO I MATTER ???'" she continued. "I would honestly be very interested to see your pretty face in the setting I was forced to be in and asking yourself 'DO I MATTER ???'

"I didn't get to cry," Britney continued. "I had to be strong ... TOO STRONG !!!"

Britney seems to address her fans as she continues, "So yes ... YOU DO MATTER and don't you ever think for one f---ing second you don't."

She then teased her outfit, saying, "Pssss this is my new ...Baby One More Time outfit !!!!"

Although some fans felt that she might be teasing new music, or a remix of old songs, other fans were focused on her publicly calling out Jamie Lynn yet again... and wondering how Jamie Lynn will respond to this latest comment.
