From the moment Kelly Dodd joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County, she never hid her outspoken nature, making her a pretty controversial star on the show. Unfortunately, her mouth took her a bit too far and eventually cost her opportunities and her slot on the show.

Despite her exit from RHOC, Dodd continues to shake the internet and make headlines for her ongoing feuds with former and current stars of the show. Her most recent controversy involved two other reality stars, Heather Dubrow and Hannah Ferrier.

Dodd took to social media to slam RHOC, criticizing the show's performance and Dubrow in particular; Ferrier didn't hesitate to reply. As any fan of Dodd and RHOC would know, the star has never been one to play the bigger person, hence, their ongoing feud.

Dodd Is A Regular Critic Of 'RHOC'

Following Dodd's forced exit after season 15 of RHOC, she turned into a critic of the show and has kept a close eye on its ratings. She speaks about the show and does weekly reviews and recaps on a podcast she hosts with Rick Leventhal.

One of Dodd's messages concerning RHOC was showcased in an Instagram post by TVDeets, and in it, she harshly criticized the show and one specific cast member; Heather Dubrow.

The message read, "Their 'BIG' increase is nothing to brag about… 4 out of 6 shows so far under a million viewers (we had 14 of 16 OVER 1 [million] and last season's episode 6 scored 1.059 and .37 in the demo, crushing this week again. In fact, 15 has beaten 16 soundly every single week. If you're keeping track at home, it's Kelly 6, Heather 0."

Ferrier Replied The Post

Ferrier was alerted to TVDeets' post, and she quickly reiterated, saying, "That's kind of sad." Of course, it didn't take long before the "Below the Deck" star's comment reached Dodd's attention, and she quickly responded to Ferrier.

Dodd's response was, "Sad? Making observations about the performance of a show I was on for five years? I'm doing recaps, and this is news. What's sad is you may never do anything better than being a waitress on a boat."

Ferrier is yet to respond to what Dodd said under her comment. Still, several of her fans and other commentators have criticized Dodd's statements as unnecessary and too harsh.

Dodd Has Also Clashed With Andy Cohen

This is just one of many times Dodd slammed RHOC for raking in lower ratings than the last season she starred in. In 2021, she criticized the producers and cast of the show and singled out Cohen to ask him how the reboot was going.

Dodd tweeted, "Wait, wasn't I the ratings problem? Wasn't there a boycott ?? We got over a million viewers 14 out of 16 weeks last season despite HUGE competition from election coverage on the news !!! This year? #RHOC16 under a million 3x in 4 weeks! Hey @Andy, How's that reboot going ???"

Dodd Refused To Back Down

Following her controversial review of RHOC, Dodd released a press statement via Page Six where she refused to back down from her statements and insisted that her claims about the ratings were valid.

She told them, "If the reboot was truly a success, the next-day ratings would reflect it. Season 16's numbers would be higher than Season 15's. Instead, they're significantly lower and show many viewers have turned off the show. Based on the Instagram comments I've seen, it seems like a lot of Bravo fans can't stand Heather Dubrow and won't watch anymore."
