Jamie Lynn Spears Insinuates Britney Spears Is 'Afraid' To Tell The Truth

In this week’s latest issue of “Britney Spears vs. Jamie Lynn Spears,” the back-and-forth disparaging comments continue.

Jamie Lynn is now insinuating Britney is afraid of the truth getting out.

WOW! What a week it has been in the Spears’ households.

Britney and Jamie Lynn are in a full-blown war of words on social media and it doesn’t appear to be stopping anytime soon.

The younger sister of the pop princess went on a media tour to promote her new book, “Things I Should Have Said.”

Earlier this week, Jamie Lynn did an exclusive sit-down interview with ABC News which it aired on “Good Morning America.”

In the interview she claimed to have had ZERO involvement in Britney’s conservatorship case and explained she has no clue what a conservatorship is.

The former Nickelodeon star said, “I was happy.  First off, I don’t understand… when it [Britney’s Conservatorship] was put into place I was 17-years-old, I was about to have a baby. So, I didn’t understand what was happening nor was I focused on that.”

She continued, “There was a time when my sister asked me of her trust and will if I would be the person who was sure her boys got what they needed. Whether she’s in a conservatorship or not, that was a very normal thing, I thought. Once I realized, ‘You know what, she’s in a conservatorship,’ I felt like I didn’t want to be a part of until she was maybe out of the conservatorship.”

Jamie Lynn explained there was never a moment when she oversaw funds, and if that was ever the impression Britney was under, it was a ‘misunderstanding.’

She said, “Either way I took no steps to be a part of it [Conservatorship].”

Britney has since retaliated against her little sister on Twitter calling her “scum” and the lowest of the low.

“Jamie Lynn … congrats babe!” Britney began. “You’ve stooped to a whole new level of LOW … I’ve never been around you ever with a knife or would I ever even think to do such !!!”

“NOW and only NOW I do know only a scrum person would make up such things about someone …. I’m actually very confused about you making that up because it’s honestly not like you at all !!!! Around the kids ???? Jamie Lynn, seriously ??? Come on !!!”

Fans are now growing tired of the “she said, she said” of it all and basically are begging for it to stop.

However, that is not the case.

On Friday, January 14, Jamie Lynn responded not once, but twice.

She posted a cryptic message to her Instagram Story that read, “Nobody trashes your name more than someone who’s afraid you’ll tell people the truth.”

Given her ongoing feud with Brit, this message is basically directed at her.

She followed up her story with a post to her IG grid, and it was lengthy.

Jamie Lynn began, “Last thing I want to be doing is this, but here we area… It’s hard to see these posts, as I know the world also feels. I just wish her well. Brit, I’m always here, you know behind the scenes I have always been here. It’s become exhausting when conversations, and texts we have in private don’t match what you post on social media. I know you’re going through a lot and I never want to diminish that, but I also can’t diminish myself. Quite frankly, the things being said are absolutely not the truth, and I have to clarify that, because now it’s getting harder for me to rationalize to my oldest daughter why our family continues to get death threats, as a result of their aunt’s vague and accusatory posts, especially when we know she could tell the truth, and put an end to all of it in one second if she wanted to.”

The former “Zoey 101” star concluded, “I don’t want drama, but I’m speaking my truth to heal my traumas, so I can close this chapter and move forward, and I wish my sister could do the same. No matter what comes, I will always love my big sister and be here for her. It’s time to put an end to the unhealthy chaos that has controlled my life for so long.”
