Hot Diggity Dogg!
Snoop Dogg is letting the dogs out and getting into the hot dog industry.
This is the doggone truth. Okay, enough with the hot dog puns!
But for real, the rapper is expanding his business ventures into the food industry, and has taken legal action to trademark his own brand of hot dogs. The line is called “Snoop Doggs.”
Snoop Dogg Is Launching His Own Hot Dog Line!
His legal team explained that he plans to use it to sell hot dogs, various types of sausage and other products.
Billboard reports, the 50-year-old’s attorneys filed it as a so-called intent-to-use application, meaning Snoop has not yet launched a brand — but that he has a serious intent to do so and wants to lock down the name ahead of time.
Snoop is a bon-a-fide entrepreneur. The rapper does A LOT more than music and (soon to be) slinging hot dogs.
“Snoop Doggs” Are Coming To A Deli Near You!
In 2015, Snoop started a cannabis company called “Leafs By Snoop,” and in 2020 the “Gin and Juice” singer brought his lyrics to life by debuting a liquor line called “Indoggo Gin.”
He’s also got a cookbook and has appeared on several cooking shows with Martha Stewart.
Snoop Vowed In 2016 He’d Never Eat Hot Dogs Again
It’s ironic Snoop is getting into the hot dog industry given his disdain for how they’re made. In 2016, Snoop appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” for the “Howz It Mizzade with Snoop Dogg” segment.
The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper dropped the idea of ever eating hotdogs again after seeing how it’s mizzade.
After guessing ‘chocolate’ and ‘beff jerky,’ Snoop landed on the correct answer, ‘hot dog.’
“This is a hot dog,” a shocked and disgusted Snoop said. “Aw cuz, I aint ever eating no mother f***ing hot dogs! If that’s how they make hot dogs, I don’t want one. I’m good.”
Clearly, he’s had a change of heart!
