Jamie Lynn Spears is giving her first live interview since her older sister, Britney Spears, was released from her conservatorship.
The former Nickelodeon star has had a tumultuous relationship with the pop princess in recent years.
The exclusive sneak peek from “Good Morning America” shows Jamie saying through tears, “I love my sister.”
‘GMA’ anchor Juju Chang follows up her statement saying, “But things have gotten complicated,” to which JLS replies, “I guess so.”

Without giving too much away, the clip then cuts to Chang asking, “What has caused this rift between you?” and “What do you regret not saying.”
Jamie will appear on the morning talk-show on Wednesday, January 12th.
Since being freed from her conservatorship, and even a bit before she was let out of the 13-year-long legal battle, Britney has been outspoken about her disdain for her entire family.
She has publicly trashed her father, Jamie Spears, mother, Lynne Spears, and little sister.
Britney Does Not Trust Her Family
Britney expressed how upset she was that Jamie Lynn performed her hit songs onstage and has subtly called her out for lying.
Over the summer, Jamie took to Instagram to release a lengthy video statement regarding her sister.
In a July Instagram Story, JL said, “Hey everybody I just wanted to take a second to address things. Um, the only reason I haven’t before is, I felt like until my sister was able to speak for herself and say what she felt she needed to say publicly, that it wasn’t my place and it wasn’t the right thing to do. But now that she has very clearly spoken and said what she needed to say, I feel like I can follow her lead and say what I feel I need to say.”
Her impassioned message continued, “I think it’s extremely clear that since the day I was born I’ve always loved, adored and supported my sister. This is my freaking big sister before any of this bulls**t. I don’t care if she wants to run away to a rainforest and have a zillion babies in the middle of nowhere or if she wants to comeback and dominate the world the way she has so many times before, because I have nothing to gain or lose either way. Maybe I didn’t support her the way the public would like me to with a hashtag on a public platform, but I can assure you I’ve supported my sister long before there was a hashtag, and I’ll support her long after. Note that.”
Jamie Lynn Says She's Always Supported Britney
Jamie Lynn continued to explain that she was proud of Britney for using her voice, requesting new counsel and working toward ending her conservatorship.
However, according to Britney’s June deposition, she wants every single one of her family members behind bars for what they did to her, and the abuse she endured during the conservatorship.
