The renowned rapper recently achieved a new milestone in the fashion industry as his sportswear label, Yeezy, joined hands with The Gap, one of the biggest brands in the fashion industry.

Ye proudly took to his Instagram story to dedicate this achievement to Donda after the fashion line's commercial dropped on ESPN during the College Football National Championship game.

The "Gold Digger" artist commemorated the debut of his Yeezy X Gap brand's commercial by sharing a recorded clip of the ad playing on a wall-mounted TV.

The rapper proved his status as a creative genius remained undisputed as the label's commercial also served as the music video for "Heaven and Hell," a song from his 2021 album, "DONDA."

That's right! The "Heartless" singer was far from cold-blooded when it came to his mother as he continues to honor her memory through his music and other ventures.

For his latest milestone, Ye paid tribute to the late professor by writing, "Our first yzy gap commercial, mama we made it," in addition to a teary-eyed emoji.

Regarding the video, various models were captured donning the new black hoodies from the Yeezy X Gap label as they walked, sat, or stood still in an eerie dark city.

The people had their faces hidden behind sheer black masks, while the 22-time Grammy winner appeared to be wearing a black mask with a large gold zipper.

The 44-year-old was seen rapping in a storm made from bodies swirling through the air, with a bright light at the middle of the vortex — which could be a representation of heaven.

The GOOD Music Founder Teased Fans About His Fashion Collaboration

Before unveiling the Yeezy X Gap line, The Blast reported that the "POWER" rapper had shared an ambiguous post about the collaboration on Instagram.

The 3-time Brit Awards winner shared a screenshot of a signed contract between his Yeezy line and some of the powerhouses in the fashion industry — Balenciaga SAS and The Gap.

Although he didn't share any details about what this contract entailed, it appeared to be a subtle announcement about the rapper's plans to create a new line.

Naturally, fans were thrilled about a possible collaboration between the fashion brands, but many were excited to see their beloved artist active on Instagram.

This post marked the first thing the "Flashing Lights" musician had uploaded after wiping his page clean when Virgil Abloh died.

The new year is shaping up to be a good one for the BET Award winner, as The Blast previously shared that he would be performing at the Coachella music festival.

After the postponement of the world-famous event due to the ongoing pandemic, the show shall be returning in Indio, and the star performers are Ye and Billie Eilish.

According to sources, the "Off The Grid" rapper and the "Bad Guy" songstress shall grace the stage on separate weekends — April 15-17 and April 22-24.
