Bob Saget's Family Break Their Silence Over His Death: 'He Was Everything To Us'

Bob Saget's wife Kelly Rizzo and his children have broken their silence over his sudden passing.

“We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today," the Saget family said in a statement obtained by Page Six.

They continued, "He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter," adding, "Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world."

The comedian is survived by Rizzo, 42, and his three daughters — Aubrey, 34, Lara, 32, and Jennifer, 29 — who he shares with his first wife Sherri Kramer.

Saget and Rizzo tied the knot in 2018. He was previously married to Kramer, 65, his high school sweetheart.

In February, Rizzo, a journalist who hosts her own digital series, "Eat Travel Rock TV," revealed on TikTok that her husband slid into her DMs in 2015.

"I think Bob was looking for a good Midwestern gal, a Chicago gal, like myself," she said in a video.

She added, "So he saw my Instagram and he’s like, 'Oh, it’s not all selfies and bikinis, like she actually does stuff. She has this food show and travel show. She seems interesting.'"

The couple got engaged in November 2017 with the actor sharing the details in a past interview.

"We were watching 'Stranger Things' on the iPad and then I got up to go to the restroom and I opened the safe," he told People at the time.

He continued, "And I took out a ring that I'd been hiding for four days, and I got on one knee and she said, 'What are you doing?' And she got very emotional and so did I."

Saget also noted that he absolutely "adore her and she's fantastic," adding. "So I'm a very lucky man. This is the beginning of something wonderful."

Last October, Rizzo celebrated their third wedding anniversary and posted several pics of them together on Instagram.

"Happy 3 year anniversary!! Time flies with you!" she wrote in the caption, adding, "Doesn’t feel a day over 2 years 10 months. Love you @bobsaget, Thank you for being the most wonderful husband!"

In December, Rizzo compiled a clip of their videos taken throughout 2021.

"Another year of fun with this one…sorry December got a bit lazy ??‍♀️ @bobsaget," she captioned the share.

Apart from the family statement, Rizzo has not shared a tribute on her social media pages, possibly from shock and devastation.

The "Full House" actor was found dead inside his hotel room on Sunday, as reported by The Blast.

He stayed at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando, Florida, where security found him unconscious in the room. His cause of death has yet to be revealed.

Saget died at age 65.
