Betty White is being honored today by 'Buffalo Bills' star Stefon Diggs, who is sporting a custom pair of cleats with her face painted on them!
That's right, the wide receiver is paying tribute to the late 'Golden Girls' actress by strapping on a pair of custom-designed cleats for his pregame warm-up, that features her face and a line from the show's famous song.
A picture of the outstanding cleats made its way to social media and features a cartoon rendering of White throwing up a 'rock on' hand sign and flashing a big smile. On the other side, the shoes read, "Thank You For Being A Friend," a tribute to the show's theme song.

The custom artwork was done by famous footwear designer, Mache, who is well known for his work for athletes including Diggs. It appears the football star is just wearing the tribute cleats for his warmup, but they are awesome!
It's unclear if Stefon and Betty had any sort of relationship outside of his respect for the actress and maybe the show, but he tweeted "R.I.P Betty White," on the day of her death.
The best part, it appears the football Gods appreciated the gesture as Stefon scored a stunning touchdown in the first quarter of the Bills game, with a toe tap in the endzone. The NFL star also surpassed Wes Welker for the most catches by a player in the first two seasons with a team in NFL history. You know Betty is loving it!
'Buffalo Bills' Star: Thank You For Being A Friend!
As we reported, Betty White died on New Year's Eve just a few days shy of her 100th birthday. Many celebrities and athletes paid tribute to the 'Golden Girls' star including the 'Girl Scouts' who have dedicated a patch to the late actress. "We are truly saddened at Betty White's passing, but the incredible response to the patch program is a wonderful tribute to her impact on women," a spokesperson for the organization said.
Adding, "She is a strong role model for girls — a feminist, civil rights supporter, animal activist, brilliant actress, and overall nice human being."
Following her death, White's longtime agent revealed just how much fans continued to love the actress in the last few years. Even when she wasn't working, I said, 'Betty, millions of people out there are still asking for you. You're getting your fan letters, I'm getting offers for you,'" he said. Adding, "I don't know if she ever embraced it, [or] really, really felt it. The extent of it. I really don't."
R.I.P. Betty White
He continued, "I would always reinforce it with her because I always felt she should know that, I never wanted her to think while she was sitting at home, that the world has passed her by. It never did. Betty lived a great life and she lived a life that she chose. She was happy. Every time I told her, 'Betty, you're loved,' she would look at me with a wry smile and say, 'Really?' I hope she knew. I think she did. It was something beyond love."
