Jeremy Piven Reveals He Is 'Suffering' After Breaking Eight Ribs!

Jeremy Piven is breaking his silence on an absence from social media, claiming he is recovering from a major injury.

The 'Entourage' star took to Instagram to explain his absence for the past few weeks, saying he is struggling from breaking 8 of his ribs. Shockingly, the legendary actor and is not revealing a ton of details about the accident or injury, but clearly, it has been a long road to recovery.

"I’ve been a bit silent for the last month as I’ve been healing up… Breaking 8 ribs is no joke, my friends. But it’s nothing compared to the struggle of most. Grateful for the renewed respect I have for health and wellness, can’t take it for granted for a moment," Piven captioned a new picture on IG.

As you can imagine, fans flooded Jeremy's social media questioning what happened to him. "How did you break eight ribs!!!!! I have a healing story I never got to tell you…." one person wrote. Another added, "Dude I’ve cracked one and it was a b---- everything from getting out of bed and every other movement throughout the day. Including sitting and breathing. I’ll never forget what a freaking sneeze feels like. Be well and heal fast."

Interestingly, Piven didn't answer any of the questions from fans about the injury, but the picture looks like he is doing much better.

"I will dive right back in and do a podcast to let you guys know what’s been going on. Who would your top choices be for a guest?" Jeremy asked fans. Of course, they had great ideas including Dave Matthews, Joe Rogan, and even former President Barack Obama.

Again, it's unclear exactly what happened the the 'Entourage' star and for some reason, he decided not to share the details with his fans.

As we reported, Jeremy has health with a few other issues including his home being burglarized for over $20,000 of clothing. Back in October, Jeremy was a target of a robbery, where criminals broke into his home while he was out of town on a comedy tour. "It’s unfortunate when high-profile celebrities are a target of home robberies when traveling," a spokesperson for the star said following the incident. Adding, "Jeremy was out of town at the time doing his stand-up comedy shows in the UK."

Reports indicate that the robbers smashed a window and entered the home, taking off with thousands of dollars with high-end clothing. At this point, no arrests have been made in the case, but authorities are looking through surveillance video from Piven's home as a part of the investigation.
