Emmy Award winner Nicole Kidman gave credit to her family for how successful her career has been. This included her husband Keith Urban and daughters, 13-year-old Sunday and 11-year-old Faith.
ET reported that the 54-year-old mother appreciated their significance as she took on a new role.
Kidman talked about what she has been teaching her daughters regarding work ethics. According to the actress, her kids have always been involved in everything in her life, including her travels. She said:
“I always say it’s our work as a family, it’s not my work. So they share in everything, all of them…”
This enabled them to know what went on behind the scenes and understand their mother's work in the entertainment industry.
The mother-slash-producer revealed the importance of her daughters knowing everything about her work. She admitted that she wouldn't be where she is now without her kids' support.
Kidman described her family as the intimate type who were always aware of everything that went on in each other's lives, including their goals.
Kidman and Urban are both quite famous and successful, but this hasn't prevented them from not including their kids in their lives. They tell the girls everything that goes on as they are, no sugarcoating.
The "Bombshell" Star Elaborates On Her Kids Critique
Being a Hollywood star doesn't shield Kidman from her kids criticizing comments. She described her girls as her biggest critics, with no malice.
The Blast shared in 2021 that Sunday and Faith had never been the type to obsess over their mother's career. Surprisingly, Kidman wasn't bothered by this and was glad.
Apparently, both girls have been more into what they do rather than walking in their mother's path.
Kidman has been subjected to quite a number of injuries while filming. They were pretty alarming, but the actress pulled through.
Her first injury occurred during her early morning dance practice for "The Graham Norton Show." She also posted some injuries she got while shooting "Moulin Rouge."
Another incident was when she tried to fit into a small-sized corset, which led to her breaking a rib. This made Kidman wish she had a waist like Vivien Leigh's in "Gone with the Wind."
Nicole Kidman's Husband Appreciates Her For Sobriety Success
Keith Urban and Kidman have been married since June 2006, and Urban expressed his appreciation of Kidman coming into his life.
The Blast reported that during an appearance on Reba McEntire's "Living & Learning" podcast, the "Somebody Like You" singer mentioned his marriage to Kidman as his top accomplishment.
Urban also referenced his decision to become sober 15 years ago to his marriage, noting that it was a turning point in his life.
The "Only You Can Love Me This Way" singer never fails to express how much he loves his wife and how marrying her was the best thing ever to happen to him.
