Cheryl Burke is a huge animal lover, while her husband of over three years, Matthew Lawrence, is obsessed with reptiles.
This diverse love of pets has made the couple's family fascinating, filled with over three dozen crawling creatures!
The pet mom opened up about her entire household and the variety of beautiful and unique creatures that comprise it.

On Thursday, January 6, the American professional dancer dived into her and her husband's lives as pet parents on "The Kelly Clarkson Show."
Burke expressed that she loves animals, but Lawrence loves reptiles, and their relationship works because opposites attract. She explained that:
“He [Lawrence] has 45-50 reptiles that live beneath us. No snakes! That was the deal… I knew I would be marrying a guy who loves reptiles."
According to the "Dancing With The Stars" pro, the "Mrs. Doubtfire" actor's reptiles include iguanas that resemble crocodiles.
On the other hand, Burke has an adorable female French Bulldog which she keeps safely away from any household reptile that may find her sumptuous.

The stress of Burke's Olympic lifestyle got to her in the past and made her depend on alcohol to get through each day.
The Blast shared an October interview the ABC personality had on the "Heart of the Matter" podcast. She admitted to hosting Elizabeth Vargas that she was a functioning alcoholic.
Burke said her alcoholism began when she moved to Los Angeles for "DWTS." She made several promises to quit but could not seem to stop.
The TV host's turning point was when she saw her father sipping whiskey on his deathbed. After getting engaged to the "Brotherly Love" actor, her body started rejecting intoxication.
Burke officially quit alcohol on the night of her engagement party after breaking out in hives. She described it as her "body rejecting all this poison after drowning with it for so many years."
Today, the dancer is sober and attends Alcoholics Anonymous meetings introduced to her by AJ McLean of 'Backstreet Boys.'
