Months after Samuels confirmed she would not be returning to “The Real Housewives of Potomac” cast following a season five altercation with Candiace Dillard-Bassett, Bryant appeared on “Pop Culture at Home,” where she addressed Samuels’ decision to walk away from the Bravo reality series before encouraging Karen Huger to “get a life.”
“I didn’t know one way or the other,” Bryant said after being asked if she suspected Samuels would quit, via Instagram.

According to Bryant, she frequently got questioned about whether or not Samuels would be back.
“People asked me so many times, ‘Do you want her to come back?’ And I’m like, ‘I have no say over that. I have no say who’s on the show.’ But the fact that she’s not is, I think, a breath of fresh air,” Bryant explained. “I think we all just need to move forward and move past what happened during season five. Season five was a mess.”

Also during the interview, Bryant lashed out at Huger for continuing to speak about her on social media before hinting at season six drama.
“Karen is so eager to talk about me that it’s really sad. I have no idea what Karen’s talking about half the time, I really don’t,” she admitted. “I just let her do her thing. We’ll see what happens next season. Are we going to get along? Who knows? Are we going to pull each other’s hair out? Who knows? But we do know we’re not going to get along. I’m going to let you know now. We’re not. Get a life girl, just get a life!”
Monique Samuels Quit ‘RHOP’ After The Season Five Reunion
During an Instagram Live session in December, following the conclusion of the three-part “Real Housewives of Potomac” season five reunion, Samuels confirmed her decision to leave the show with her fans and followers.
“It’s not easy doing reality TV, and to be quite honest… I’m over it. I’m over it,” she said at the time, via Deadline. “I appreciate everything people have done for me, everybody that has been Team Monique, I love y’all, I thank y’all. But when you cross certain lines, there’s no going back.”

Continuing on to the online viewers, Samuels said that when it comes to her thoughts about the future, she wants to be someone who makes decisions based upon the thoughts of her family.
“For me, my family is that line. The opinion of my family and my kids and what they think about anything that I do is more valuable to me than anybody’s opinion, so I’m over it,” she explained.
“The Real Housewives of Potomac” season six is expected to return to Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
