Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman has caught herself on a high-rise building all legs and unbuttoned. The 26-year-old former athlete, recently in the news for announcing a bit of a career change, posted quick Instagram stories for her 2.1 million followers ahead of the weekend. While one showed a cry-face emoji as the 2012 “Fierce Five” and 2016 “Final Five” captain spotted herself in a promo on sheer glass panels and downtown, the other showed the actual capture. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photo. It comes as Aly herself winds up in an unexpected place. Having announced her big retirement in 2020, the Pilates lover and Amazon partner is now focusing on a new project, one that will see her as a Gymnastics Program Designer. Proving that design can include her without much personal input was this photo.
Raisman initially showed a slightly snowy street and an ordinary high-rise office building, writing: “WALKING AROUND & I SAW MYSELF” with cry-face emoji.
Aly had, indeed, spotted herself. The Gold Medal winner then zoomed in on the speck concrete and glass building, focusing on a square window where a circular poster featured Aly and a male. The teeny tiny version of Aly was, however, mega on the leg as the gymnast posed in an open jacket and stylish, and very leggy, miniskirt. “Champions for good” the poster read, with the word “Good” in orange.
The photo comes as Aly makes headlines for stepping back from an aggressive gymnast routine past and into gentler things.
Bravely opening up in recent months over a period of depression that left her barely able to walk following the 2016 Olympics, Aly put her recovery down to Pilates. The Aerie face is now onto fresher things, just this month announcing:
“I went to Woodward gymnastics camp as a young gymnast & had a blast. And now, I am SO thrilled to announce that I’m the Gymnastics Program Designer @WoodwardCamp ??? .”
Aly has also been snapped up on the promo front. Her adorable Silk Milk photo is below.
Posing in January while bent over a kitchen counter and with a gorgeous makeup-free face and a glass half full, the gymnast shouted out high-protein and vegan Silk milk, writing:
“I am passionate about trying to be more plant based. ??? I used to struggle to get enough protein so when I heard about Silk ULTRA I was really eager to try it,” adding: “It’s packed with 20g of complete plant-based protein which helps me to recover after workouts and ensure I’m getting enough protein throughout the day. “
