Ariana Grande isn’t exactly the most subtle gal in showbiz today. The 27-year-old “Problem” singer has ascended the ladder of fame with fantastic success, comparable to artists like Taylor Swift or Mariah Carey actually. Her latest music video is a phenomenal remix of an already hugely popular song titled “34+35” (a sexual innuendo referring to a specific position during lovemaking) a remix which was created with pop-rappers Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat.
As if the lyrics weren’t provocative enough, all three of the lovely gals wear nothing but lingerie for most if not all of the music video!
The video is trending at 1# on YouTube and has received over 5 million views in less than 14 hours since it debuted! Luscious, sensual, and downright devious, the video is becoming a female-empowerment cry for fans and viewers alike who simply can’t get enough.
The number of comments that speak of how inspired people are after seeing the video is amazing and unexpected. The pop-culture female fanbase has shifted dramatically from simply praising an artist’s voice, and now focuses heavily on how beautiful or confident they are portrayed.
Fans Adore The Video!
Here are just some of the comments from fans who think this is one of Ariana’s most powerful shows of “girl power” ever.
“the video is everything and your premiere was the cutest thing eVER” (MTV) “i am so insanely proud of you, thank you for everything you do for us. just wanted you to know we all love you so so much and are insanely inlove with everything about the album??” (Commentator) “YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE AHH” (Commentator) “THIS VIDEO IS INSANE!!! QUEENS” (Commentator)
Not long ago Ariana shared that she had actually been working with Doja Cat before this new remix, and her experience was quite entertaining to hear about!
The majority of her comments are rather adorable, giving a clear perspective that they really just enjoy playing around and working together in a casual manner. Heck, at one point Ariana shared that Doja was twerking to her part and her hair fell off! No joke, Ariana expressed how impressed she was with how “in to” the music Doja was.
“I was able to work with her earlier this year on this song that I want to save for whenever it’s time again, to drop,” Grande shared during an interview. When Doja Cat sent back her part of a song they were working on, Grande remembers, “She was twerking to it, and her hair was falling off. She twerked so hard that her wig fully flew off. She had a whole verse done, everything was done. I was like, ‘First of all, you ate.’ She was like, ‘How many bars can I take? Because this is mad inspiring and I want to just go.’ And I was like, ‘Take as many bars as you want. Do it. If you’re inspired to say stuff, let’s go.’ And so she just goes off on it, and it’s so much fun, and I love it. It’s my favorite so far.”
