Dr. Dre is currently going through an ugly divorce battle with his estranged wife, Nicole Young. The two had been married since 1996 but, she filed for divorce in June 2020. The west coast legend is now back on the dating scene though as he was spotted with who appeared to be “Love and Hip-Hop: Hollywood” star, Apryl Jones. 

According to Page Six, the two were seen at BOA Steakhouse in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. While leaving the restaurant, they were seen masked up, which also helped them conceal their identities. 

Once this report was published, people online couldn’t believe that Dre and Jones may be an item. A lot believe that the two are one of the most unlikely couples to be an item but, here we are to start 2021. 

Neither has addressed the speculation about them as a couple but being seen at dinner together may be self-explanatory. It’ll be interesting to see if Jones and Dre pop out on Instagram together to confirm things the way Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan did last month.

Prior to Dre, Jones was known most for dating R&B superstar, Omarion. The two dated and their relationship was also publicized on “Love and Hip-Hop: Hollywood.” They went on to have two children together but split in 2016. 

In 2019, Jones began dating Lil Fizz, who used to be in the group, B2K, with Omarion, back in the 2000s. This didn’t appear to bother Omarion at all but he did remove Fizz from The Millenium Tour following the news that he was dating Jones. 

Last month, Dr. Dre agreed to pay $2 million in temporary spousal support to Young as well. She originally wanted $5 million in total to cover her attorney fees. 

Dre did end up agreeing to pay $500,000 for these fees, though. This will be all the money that he has to pay at least until their next court hearing in April. It doesn’t stop here either as Dre will continue to pay for Young’s Malibu home as well as her mother’s Pacific Palisades home. 

While Dre is dealing with this divorce and starting a new relationship, all eyes are still on his health. In early January, he suffered a brain aneurysm at his Pacific Palasades home and was soon rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. 

Dre was kept there for a week and a half as he updated fans and revealed that he was doing well and was receiving excellent treatment. Doctors couldn’t figure out what caused the aneurysm but doctors were still sent to his home for the next two weeks after his release just to be cautious.
