"This is not an ad for a blood pressure machine. This is not at ad at all," she wrote in the caption, along with two photos of herself holding a blood pressure monitor.

She continued, "I am posting this for whoever suffers with anxiety and anxiety disorders like I do. I ordered a blood pressure monitor to accurately read my heart rate and blood pressure because I live in a constant fear that I’m dying from a heart attack… also known as cardiophobia."

The model also shared that "The heart palpitations and chest pain brought on by your typical anxiety attack convinces me that I am a 26 year old with an underlying heart condition that I don’t have," adding that she does not take medication as she doesn't "believe in it." Although, she understands that "some people need their medications."

While she has reached out to anxiety specialists and tried "breath work," Baldwin noted that "nothing brings me more comfort than an EKG."

Baldwin also shared that her anxiety has "gotten SO BAD in the past" that she had to call "ambulances and have had hospital visits where paramedics and doctors" had to reassure her that she's not having a heart attack.

"I know it may seem silly to you, but this little machine has brought me the utmost comfort," Baldwin wrote," adding, "I just want anyone who suffers from their own anxieties to know that I am here and you are not alone. It can be so embarrassing and isolating at times."

She also shared that her anxiety has made her "miss out on a lot," before noting that she won't let it affect her life so much as her 2022 goal.

"I have anxiety that is caused by food, my digestive system, my heart, big crowds, talking about anxiety, airplanes, you name it," she shared.

Baldwin ended her lengthy message by telling her followers, "You’re not alone. Hold on to your comfort item right. Don’t let people make you feel guilty for having to take a walk or take some space or stay home because you’re not feeling good. Surround yourself with people who understand or at least try to. And if you’re feeling anxious right now… deep breaths. You’re going to be ok. :)"

Fans showed their support and appreciation for Baldwin, especially for opening up about her anxiety. Her share received almost 10,000 likes and over 800 comments within only three hours of posting.

"What brave of you to share this!! I have exactly the same fears.. hypochondria they call it.. and otter anxieties.. you make me feel less alone!! Thank you Ireland! Love from Belgium!" one commented.

"Great and encouraging post. Anxiety does cause tachycardia and palpitations. So yes, it does feel like a heart attack. And there have many people that also have an underlying heart condition such a Afib and Vfib that couple with anxiety! There’s nothing wrong with knowing your body and monitoring it closely," wrote another follower.

"I suffer from the same exact phobia and have had four ambulance visits to the ER in A six week period of time. Thank you so much for the vulnerability and speaking about this and helping me realize I’m not alone," a third comment read.
