Elyse Slaine isn’t going out of her way to run into her former “Real Housewives of New York City” cast mate, Ramona Singer. In fact, she does have any interest in crossing paths with her fellow reality star.
During the February 10 episode of the “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef” podcast, Slaine admitted to running into Singer “all summer” longer before confirming that the two of them didn’t actually speak.
“We ran into each other and we completely ignored one another. She is so like, not on my radar,” Slaine explained.
Elyse Slaine Will Likely Ignore Ramona Singer For Years To Come
“I just, I, I, I find her to be a caricature, you know? So I just, you know, if I [run] into her [in the future], I would probably just ignore her,” Slaine continued of her former co-star.
“In reality, living in New York on the upper East side or in certain towns in the Hamptons, like the goal of many people is not to be Ramona or [Sonja Morgan] or beyond the ‘Real Housewives of New York City,'” she added.
Elyse Slaine Has Remained In Touch With Barbara Kavovit
While Slaine is no longer in touch with Singer, she is on good terms with fellow “Real Housewives of New York City” “friend” Barbara Kavovit.
“I talked to Barbara K pretty regularly,” Slaine told Yontef. “And she has so many great things going on. Right. I mean, there was, there had been some fabulous articles about her in Bogue and I think was she in Forbes? Yeah. She’s I mean, her business is doing phenomenal. She looks great. She’s just, you know, I mean, yeah. She’s, she’s inspiring,” Slaine gushed.
Elyse Slaine Was Never A ‘Real Housewives’ Viewer
When Slaine was then asked if she would be tuning into the upcoming 13th season of the Bravo reality series, she said it isn’t at the top of her list of things to do.
“You know what look, I mean, I, before I was on, I didn’t watch. I watched season one of ‘RHONY’ only because of my history with [Bethenny Frankel] and [Jill Zarin] and I never watched again. So probably not. And not, not that it’s a shot to the show. I, it was just never in my wheel house,” she shared. “I never watched Bravo. I didn’t watch any of them.”
Elyse Slaine Watches ‘RHONY’ At Times
“You know, [Leah McSweeney] says to me, ‘Oh my God, watch this episode. I have a great, you know, a great scene or whatever.’ I mean, I’ll watch it, but it’s not, you know, it’s not going to be DVR,” Slaine added.
Singer, McSweeney, and the rest of the returning members of “The Real Housewives of New York City” cast, as well as new cast member Eboni K. Williams, will be back on Bravo for season 13 sometime later this year.
