Dorinda Medley may be enjoying time with her parents at her Massachusetts estate, Blue Stone Manor, amid the pandemic but during a new interview, she admitted that she "of course" misses being part of the "Real Housewives of New York City" cast.

“My mother said to me when the whole thing happened with ['The Real Housewives of New York City'], ‘Sometimes God does for you that what you cannot do for yourself,’” Medley told Us Weekly magazine, according to a February 8 report.

“And it’s been a blessing to have the time off, because every once in a while, it’s important to stop reset, think, regroup. Because we get lost, right? Lost in whatever this is: Housewife fame. The city. Wants, desires,” Medley continued.

According to Medley, it's been “really nice just to kind of reset and find Dorinda again."

"Not Dorinda the Housewife. Not Dorinda, John Dan’s daughter. Not Dorinda, Richard’s wife. Just Dorinda. I found it very empowering,” Medley admitted of her recent soul searching.

Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Medley said she's experienced a “beautiful reset" as she continues to enjoy time with her family at Blue Stone Manor, which she “never really” had time to do over the past several years.

Medley also said that she is “happy” to have distanced herself from the madness surrounding "The Real Housewives of New York City" but added that she has “no hard feelings” about the way her role on the show came to an end last summer.

While Medley will not be featured on the upcoming 13th season of "The Real Housewives of New York City," which began filming months ago with new cast member Eboni K. Williams, she has kept in touch with her ex-cast mates.

“I’m still very close to everybody. I feel positive about it,” she explained. “You know, [Andy Cohen] checks in every once in a while and everyone checks in. I was really friends with these people. They were part of my life before the show. This wasn’t a show thing. This was a real thing.”

Medley went on to say that she "really enjoyed" the time she spent on Bravo.

“I was a great housewife. I brought it!” she proclaimed to Us Weekly. “You could love me. You can hate it. I am an authentic person. Like you’ve met me in real life. I’m not really different in real life than I am on the show. So, I’ve really grown to respect myself for that. Like me, hate me. I’m doing Dorinda Medley. And I always make it nice.”
