While appearing on an episode of Andy Cohen‘s late-night talk show, “Watch What Happens Live,” last week, Lewis, who previously appeared on Bravo’s “Flipping Out,” reacted to the news of the renewal of the newest “Real Housewives” franchise, “RHOSLC,” by explaining why he believes Cosby should be fired from her full-time position before filming begins on the new episodes.
Jeff Lewis Believes Mary Cosby Is ‘Disconnected’ From The Cast
After admitting that while he initially felt that the “Real Housewives” franchise didn’t need any additional cities, Lewis said he’s come to love “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” before confirming he is Team Jen Shah in her ongoing feud with Cosby.
“Yeah, I’m glad that you brought that up because I was gonna talk to you off-camera. I’m noticing, you know, I watched the whole season. I noticed that [Mary] was very disconnected from the cast,” Lewis explained, via Monsters and Critics.
Jeff Lewis Wants Mary Cosby’s Role On ‘RHOSLC’ Recast
“When I was watching the show, I noticed her absence. And then when she is with the cast, she’s not connected to them at all. I’m suggesting a re-cast of Mary,” Lewis continued.
Although Lewis was far from on board with a Cosby return, Cohen attempted to convince him that he may have a change of heart after watching the upcoming three-part reunion special.
“Well, watch the reunion and then let me know if you still feel that way,” he teased. “Because…I don’t know. I don’t know.”
Mary Cosby Is Unsure About A ‘RHOSLC’ Season Two Position
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the end of last month, Cosby was asked if she would consider returning to “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” for the series’ upcoming second season.
“I don’t know if I’d do this again,” she admitted. “I just don’t know. That’s a strong question…I mean would they want me back?”
According to Cosby, she isn’t convinced that a season two is something she’d want to do because the time she spent with her cast mates wasn’t always fun.
Mary Cosby Didn’t Mind Missing The ‘RHOSLC’ Cast Trip To Las Vegas
“I feel like if I go in to do an event, or go to do something fun or enjoyable, dinner and vacation, that’s super touchy. I’m gonna go with someone I enjoy, someone that enjoys me. That sounds fun. But to go with this group? Every escape was, like, literally an escape for me,” she admitted.
Cosby then added to Entertainment Tonight that she was both “happy” and “at peace” with her decision against attending Whitney Rose’s girls trip to Las Vegas.
