Sports and Celebrity Agent Darren Prince, who is also a global addiction recovery advocate is giving new meaning to the word ‘Super Agent’ on his 51st birthday.
Prince, who is an international best-selling author, published his memoir “Aiming High” which outlines his 12 years of sobriety after suffering from 24-year opiate addiction. Darren represents some of the most iconic figures of our generation, like Magic Johnson, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Chevy Chase, Charlie Sheen, Carmen Electra, Denise Richards, and worked with the late Joe Frazier, Muhammad Ali, and Evel Knievel.
At this point, it’s his life’s mission is to help others struggling with mental health and substance abuse especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. So, Prince started his own charity last year, ‘Aiming High Foundation,’ and started to distribute funds to different treatment centers last week to scholarship those wanting help that can’t afford it.
Incredibly, for his birthday Prince asked that any gifts from friends, family, and celebrity clients be sent to his foundation, so he can, “assist those to get the life they were always meant to have. I need to help others turn their bottom into a brand new beginning as I was blessed with.”
Prince will be the keynote speaker at www.OaksRecovery.Org in Greenwood, South Carolina on Friday, February 12th and will meet several patients that evening to which his foundation provided financial assistant.
“Darren is truly an amazing man and does so much for the world of mental health and recovery to help others,” Oaks CEO Brian Ready. Adding, “We’re all looking forward to his well known powerful keynote on Friday and to see lives transformed that very evening.”
