Travis Scott Is Expected To Not Perform At Coachella

In 2020, Travis Scott was one of the original scheduled performers for Coachella. The Houston superstar was also added to the 2022 lineup, but it appears that he will not make this performance, with Kanye being added.

Coachella was also pressured by the public to drop Travis from the lineup, in the aftermath of his Houston-based Astroworld Festival. That concert was where over 300 fans were injured, and 10 died from injuries sustained.

Travis has since been dropped from brand endorsement deals such as W magazine, which he made the cover of with his girlfriend and baby mama, Kylie Jenner. Travis and AdAge also agreed to put the sales of his CACTI Agave Spiked Seltzer drinks on hold.

Kanye And Billie Both Had A Huge 2021

For Coachella, getting Kanye West and Billie Eilish on board for this festival was a very smart business decision. In 2021, Ye and Billie continued to show why they are two of the biggest artists in the world.

In July, Eilish released her sophomore album, "Happier Than Ever." This project went on to become her second consecutive number one album. It was led by hits such as "My Future," "Therefore I Am," and "Your Power." The singer is also set to go on her Happier Than Ever Tour in February.
