Randall Emmett addressed his messy feud with former business partner 50 Cent during an appearance on the “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef” podcast this week.
Several months after allegations claiming Emmett stiffed the rapper to the tune of $1 million and an alleged legal threat, the “Vanderpump Rules” cast member, who is better known as a producer and director, said that he no longer wants to fuel the fire between himself and 50 Cent.
“I just don’t talk about it only because I wish him the best, I do. People butt heads that happens,” Emmett explained, according to a report from Showbiz Cheat Sheet on February 3.
Randall Emmett Respects 50 Cent’s Success
“At the end of the day, he’s uber-successful in what he’s done and how he does it,” Emmett continued. “And I always will give him that respect. You know, I try to just, you know, do my thing. And I don’t usually talk about it at all.”
Emmett and 50 Cent worked together on the Starz series “Power,” where they served as co-producers of the scripted show, and also teamed up behind the scenes on other projects.
Looking back, Emmett said he and 50 Cent accomplished a lot as a team.
50 Cent Started His Feud With Randall Emmett In 2019
“We did a lot of great things together, you know, in our relationship, over all those years,” Emmett said. “And I’ll cherish all of those memories and learn from those things and, and move forward and he’s moved forward.”
As fans will recall, Emmett’s feud with 50 Cent began in spring 2019 when the rapper accused Emmett of being a fool for splurging on now-fiancee, Lala Kent, who he claimed was a “gold digger.”
50 Cent’s allegations of Kent were shared on his Instagram page along with a clip in which she was seen admitting that Emmett gifted her a Range Rover after she slept with him.

Following the claims, which were made after Emmett allegedly failed to pay $1 million to 50 Cent for one of their previous projects, Emmett was believed to have paid the rapper what he was owed.
Now, over a year later, Emmett doesn’t believe that 50 Cent thinks about the drama that went down between them.
“I don’t think he’s losing any sleep and I don’t think I’m losing any sleep,” he explained. “I think that we both, you know … it was a public thing.”
Randall Emmett Claims 50 Cent Is A Stellar Businessman
Emmett went on to flood 50 Cent with more praise over the many things he’s accomplished in his decades-long career in the world of entertainment.
“He’s a very good businessman and a huge personality,” he said. “And I admire what he’s done with his career. And I’m happy to have been a part of, you know, the parts that I was involved [in]. Watching what he’s continued to do is impressive.”
“Vanderpump Rules” season nine has not yet been announced by Bravo.
