Tory Lanez has been viewed as a controversial figure since July 2020 as then, he was accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in her feet. This was after a night of partying together in Hollywood Hills, CA.
The next month, Megan took to Instagram Live to finally come out and claim that Lanez was the one who pulled the trigger on her. The Toronto rapper has since denied on numerous occasions that he committed this crime. This was done on IG Live and his “Daystar” album.

This evidence would able to be provided if the protective order that is held against him would be modified in court. This order prevents Lanez from being around Megan or even contacting her. The next court hearing is set to take place on February 25. Megan recently said the January hearing was pushed back due to Joe Biden’s inauguration.
Megan Went Off On Twitter After Rumors Were Spread That She Dropped Charges Against Tory
Megan was fed up a few weeks ago regarding rumors being spread that she dropped all charges against Lanez. There, she believed that people took her trauma for a joke as she called this situation “fake news.”

Tory Could Face 22 Years In Prison If Convicted
Lanez was charged in connection to reportedly shooting Megan back in October as this was for felony assault, according to TMZ. He was hit with one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and one count of carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle by the L.A. County D.A.’s Office. They also stated that he caused great bodily injury to Megan. If convicted, Lanez faces 22 years and eight months on the table. He plead not guilty back in November on behalf of his attorney, Shawn Holley.
