Rumer Willis knows that cleanliness is next to godliness, especially when it comes to your own home. The 32-year-old daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis took to Instagram with some new shots of her well-organized home and wrote about the importance of turning your home into a place you truly feel safe and comfortable. While showing off her fashionable interior decorating skills, Rumer also shared a fire photo of herself, which comes days after sharing with fans her decision to participate in a lingerie shoot and interview.
Titling her post, “Cleaning House,” Rumer explained to her fans:
“One of the biggest lessons I learned around self care this year is about allowing your space to be a reflection of your inner reality. So since the beginning of the year I have been devoting energy everyday to make sure the place I live is one that feels safe, well organized, alive and full of ? and everything that brings me joy.”
Rumer’s photo drop included a selfie of the star showing off her trim figure beneath a sheer white dress.
The former “Dancing with the Stars” champion continued:
” If you know me you know scent is a huge part of my life so every room has my favorite candles and diffusers, personal photos and trinkets that mean something. And everything has a home. And no matter how tired I am at the end of the day I make sure everything is put away and clean for the next day.”
Rumer added that taking care of her personal space has become a daily routine that she loves, and was happy to give fans a “little sneak peek into my sanctuary in the woods.”
Rumer has been very open with fans lately, including a lingerie photoshoot and accompanying interview last week that touched on the star’s journey with her own views of her body and how she dealt with the negativity of growing up in the public eye. However, Rumer felt many missed the point with her pictorial and later took to social media to explain the situation.
“This is my version of healing. I was saddened yesterday by the amount of comments I saw yesterday that really missed the point of what I wanted to share. This is not about sex, it’s not about staying relevant or garnering attention,” the young star wrote.
