Tamra Judge was reportedly unimpressed with the 15th season of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” and anticipating the apparently upcoming “reBOOT” of the series.
According to a January 30 report from Hollywood Life, “all of the ladies are expecting a cast shakeup” after Andy Cohen shared a telling tweet about season 16 on his Twitter page last week.
“I think you mean reBOOT,” Andy told a fan on his page, who had suggested the series should be canceled after its latest season.
Tamra Judge Is Reportedly Open To Returning To ‘RHOC’
“Andy’s tweet didn’t startle any of the cast,” the source continued.
That said, it did get the attention of Tamra, who was not featured on season 15 after confirming her exit from the Bravo series in January 2020.
“Tamra would definitely be open to returning to the show if asked to come back,” another source close to the former star.
As fans of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” well know, Tamra was a full-time cast member for 12 seasons prior to her exit.
‘RHOC’ Was A Big Part Of Tamra Judge’s Life For Many Years
The show “was such a huge part of her life for so long and she’d be lying if she said she didn’t miss it,” the source explained, adding that Tamra “feels” as if the show simply isn’t the same without her.
“Tamra was a major player and such a huge contribution to why ‘RHOC’ became the huge success it is today. She feels like the show just isn’t the same as it used to be without her and some of the other former cast members like [Vicki Gunvalson] and [Heather Dubrow], and she really believes that the fans feel the same way,” a second source said of Tamra.
Tamra Judge Is Still Followed By A Huge Fanbase
“[Tamra] watched the reunion like everyone else and couldn’t believe what a hot mess it was,” the second source continued. “Like it or not, Tamra brought the drama in a way that kept people watching season after season. She knows that there were times that she may have stirred the pot and put her foot in her mouth, but who hasn’t? At the end of the day, Tamra apologized when she felt she did something wrong and she held herself accountable. And when it comes down to it, she still has a huge fan base because they can see that she’s truly a good person.”
Most Of The Current Cast Wants To Return For ‘RHOC’ Season 16
According to the Hollywood Life source, some cast members are more nervous than others when it comes to Andy’s claims of an impending reboot of the series. However, as the insider also noted, several women, including Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, Kelly Dodd, Elizabeth Vargas, and Shannon Beador are hoping to have their contracts renewed.
As for Braunwyn Windham-Burke, the source said she’s “on the fence” about her own return to Bravo.
“But none of the ladies are speaking to her so they don’t know what the deal is with her. It would be awkward if she came back with all of them,” the source added.
