Kelly Ripa and her family are probably not planning on hitting the town anytime soon, as a massive snowstorm on the east coast has brought just about everything to an icy halt, but at least they will have the tidiest stoop on the block after Michael Consuelos broke out his shovel and got to work. The “LIVE with Kelly and Ryan” co-host shared the photos of her eldest son, whom she shares with her husband Mark Consuelos, as he showed up just in time to help out his parents during the blizzard.
“Michael just shows up and does it. With a smile and a thumbs up,” Kelly Ripa wrote about 22-year-old Michael Consuelos while revealing a photo of the young man in a parka and wearing a green mask while shoveling snow at the family’s luxury apartment on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Back to mom mode, Kelly asked, “Now where are his gloves?” and also pointed out that her son was wearing fake fur, in case anybody planned on starting trouble.

Kelly Ripa’s photo racked up thousands of likes, and was even praised by Michael’s father, Mark Consuelos, who commented that his son was now “Man of the house.”
Intersting enough, Mark was also shown plowing snow outside the family home the day before while Kelly promoted a joint project the two share.
“A triple reminder: There’s an all new EXHUMED on Oxygen tonight @ 7est. And there’s a snow storm headed this way. So…….grab your shovels. We’ll help dig,” Kelly captioned a photo of Mark while discussing the true-crime show that they co-executive produce.
Since the storm hit NYC, they have seen over a foot of snow and are expected to get much more. Governor Cuomo is urging people to stay inside their homes and especially stay off the roads.
“I’m telling you, I’m on the road now and it is horrendous. People could get stranded if they’re not off the roads. And if they rely on the commuter rail at this rate of snowfall you could see the commuter rails closed. So, people should keep that in mind because if that happens, I don’t want anyone to be stranded and not be able to get home,” he told a local radio station, according to the NY Daily News.
Kelly Ripa also discussed the snowstorm on her morning show with Ryan Seacrest by heading outside for a little snow angel action.
