Halsey is celebrating her pregnancy and looking back at her struggles with endometriosis.
The “Manic” artist shared a super cute snap of her growing baby bump on January 28. The pic showed a head-on view of her adorable belly and the singer took a moment to point out her scars from her multiple endometrioses surgeries. She drew arrows pointing to the tiny scars and labeled them, “the scars that got me this angel.”

Halsey completed her IG story post by writing #endowarrior across the top of the photo. The “Bad At Love” singer has been extremely open about her struggles with the painful disorder. She revealed that she “braved multiple terrifying surgeries” in a since-deleted Instagram post in January of 2017.
“The most important of which being the surgery that would hopefully treat my endometriosis. For those of you who have followed this battle of mine or who may suffer with it yourself, you know the extremes to which it can be mentally exhausting and physically painful,” Halsey wrote at the time.
Endometriosis is when tissue, that is similar to that found inside the uterus, grows outside the uterus. It can affect ovaries, fallopian tubes, and the tissue lining your pelvis. The disorder can lead to infertility and extreme pain.
The star took to Twitter in 2019 to tell her followers that she underwent a total of four surgeries. She revealed that she suffered three miscarriages and tremendous emotional and physical pain while dealing with the chronic disorder.
Later that year, she told Rolling Stone Magazine that the doctors said she may not have to freeze her eggs because of how successful the surgeries were.
“I was like, ‘Wait, what did you just say? Did you just say I can have kids?'” she told RS. “It was like the reverse of finding out you have a terminal illness. I called my mom, crying.”
The 26-year-old shocked the world when she announced that she was expecting on Instagram. She shared several snaps (shown below) that featured her growing baby bump on January 27. “surprise! ????” she captioned the series of photos.
The star tagged her baby daddy, Alev Aydin, who quickly shared Halsey’s post to his IG story and commented, “Heart so full, I love you, sweetness.” Halsey replied, “I love you!!!!!! And I love this mini human already.”
