Rumer Willis is covering up a bit more in her recent social media photo, but the young star doesn’t seem happy about the wardrobe change – at least not on the outside! The 32-year-old daughter of actors Demi Moore and Bruce Willis hit up her Instagram page Friday morning as she was getting ready to kick off the weekend following a few days of headlines and news coverage about her titillating photoshoot. Rumer made a big statement by shedding her clothes and made sure to explain why the decision was so important.
Rumer Willis wore a very serious expression on her face with her recent post on Instagram, but made sure to explain her outward emotion does not always dictate how she is feeling on the inside.
“Hahaha this is exactly the face that I made as a little kid when I got woken up from a nap,” the former “Dancing with the Stars” champion captioned her pic.
She added, in reference to her retro-inspired copper outfit, “I may look grumpy but don’t be fooled I am so happy I even put real clothes on today!”
As we previously reported, Rumer Willis was the newest celebrity ambassador for Cuup, which specializes in underwear for women, as well as a brand focus on empowering women and body positivity. Rumer was very proud to be featured with the company, which included a special interview as part of their Body Talk series.
“Thank you to the lovely ladies at @cuup for capturing me and my sweet Dolores. And for a great conversation about self love, appreciating my curls, how to help the younger generation to learn to accept and celebrate your body in all its many forms,” Rumer captioned a photo of herself laying on her bed in yellow lingerie.
The young daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore later felt the need to defend her actions for taking the lingerie photos and took to social media for a lengthy message explaining her decision to shed her clothes.
“This felt different. It felt like this was about putting myself, with all my own personally perceived flaws or things I feel insecure about and be willing to show up vulnerably and authentically,” Rumer wrote on Instagram.
She continued, “To share my journey with it and practice what I share by putting myself out there which is very scary for me after so many years of being shamed and judged and ridiculed for how I look.”
