According to reports, the reality star has cut the price from $2.5 million down to under $2.25 million after failing to attract any buyers. The 6-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom, 10,044 sq. ft. property is located in Montville Township, N.J.
Teresa is ready to move on with her life and out of the home she used to share with her ex-husband, Joe Giudice. The former couple raised their four kids in the home.
It all came crashing down for the couple in 2015 when they were convicted of bankruptcy fraud, wire fraud, and failing to pay taxes. They both were sentenced to prison time. After being released, Joe was deported back to Italy. Teresa and Joe decided to separate following the court’s decision.
Teresa and Joe originally bought the property for $530,000 in 2002. They custom-built the massive mansion on the lot. The home took a total of 6 years to build and wasn’t finished until late 2008.
Last year, Teresa decided to do an interior remodel after Joe left. She believed the redesign would help her move on. However, it appeared it was all too much to take in and she decided to list the property on the market in September 2020.
According to Realtor.com, the pad features a formal dining room, family room, wine cellar, and two-story great room with a wood-burning fireplace. Further, it comes with an office, vaulted ceiling design, fireplace, dressing area, three walk-in closets, and a master bathroom designed with “onyx tiles”
The home is still on the market but Teresa is willing to take an offer. Teresa recently announced she was in a relationship with business owner Luis Ruelas. He lives in Allendale, New Jersey, a short drive from the home she is currently selling.
The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star and her new man have been flaunting their romance all over social media. Many fans are praising the boyfriend believing Teresa looks happier than ever. The new season of the hit Bravo show premieres on Feb. 17.
