Dr. Tiffany Moon was brought to the “Real Housewives of Dallas” cast as a friend of D’Andra Simmons in 2020 ahead of season five. But, as she revealed earlier this week, D’Andra wasn’t her only connection to the Bravo reality series.
“I’m really good friends with some of LeeAnne’s best friends. I know her,” Tiffany explained to the outlet weeks into season five.
Dr. Tiffany Moon Knows D’Andra Simmons From Their Charity Circles
According to TIffany, she frequently crosses paths with LeeAnne because they are both supportive of charities in the Dallas area.
“I’ve been at charity events with her. She emcees a lot of charity events in Dallas. She’s always been very kind and gracious to me, so I can only speak on my personal interactions with her,” Tiffanty explained.
That said, the two of them have not been in contact since Tiffany was cast.
“She did not reach out to me [when I was cast] and I did not reach out to her,” she explained.
Dr. Tiffany Moon Has Been Friends With D’Andra Simmons For Years
“D’Andra has been on the show for several years, and I am good friends with her and Mama Dee,” Tiffany explained after being asked how she was discovered for her role on “The Real Housewives of Dallas.”
While Tiffany was offered the gig during season two, she turned down the idea because she was too busy at the time.
“Years ago, after D’Andra’s first season, they told me, ‘Oh, Tiffany, you would be good on Housewives. You have a sharp tongue and quick wit.’ I was always like, ‘No. I have young children. I’m a full-time physician. Even if I did want to do it, there’s just no time in my life,’” she recalled.
Dr. Tiffany Moon Had A Change Of Heart In Late 2019
While celebrating the holidays in 2019, Tiffany changed her mind about becoming a reality star and ultimately accepted a full-time role on “The Real Housewives of Dallas”
“At the bottom of 2019, I remember being in front of a Christmas tree and something changed in me. I thought, ‘I’m going to be 35 years old. Everything I’ve ever done in my life has been by the book. I’ve always been a good girl. Why don’t I do something a little naughty for once?'” she wondered.
Dr. Tiffany Moon Is Taking A Walk On The Wild Side
“Why don’t I go hang out with my sassy girlfriends and take trips and have fun memories?’” TIffany continued. “Because it’s not everyday you get an opportunity like this. So I said, ‘You know what? Let’s do it. Why the heck not?’”
Tiffany’s role on the show was officially confirmed in 2020 with the release of the season five trailer.
