During an interview with Us Weekly magazine on January 26, the longtime “Teen Mom OG” star and mother of two said that she did speak to Catelynn after her “heartbreaking” loss before suspected her cast mate forgot about their chat and admitting that they aren’t as close as they once were.
According to Amber, she was a bit late on the news because she doesn’t use social media.

“I don’t look up on social media or media about anybody on this show for good reason. I didn’t even know about what had happened until we were actually on the phone a couple of months ago. And I guess she forgot a little bit about that, which is OK,” Amber explained.
While Amber made it clear that she did speak to Catelynn about the miscarriage, she admitted that the two of them don’t speak as frequently as they did when they first began appearing on the MTV reality show.

“We’re just not as connected as we used to be. And to sit there and to know that your costars are hurt … it’s tough,” Amber shared.
Amber went on to say that she and Catelynn have been further restricted from their usual closeness due to the ongoing pandemic, which has limited their air travels.
“There’s nothing we can do because of the pandemic. We can’t get on a plane necessarily. I don’t know, it’s emotionally hard,” she stated.
Catelynn first confirmed her miscarriage in December.

“I WAS Pregnant and excited to share it with all of you and I am heartbroken to reveal that I lost the baby,” Catelynn wrote on Instagram at the time. “I am sharing this to let you know you are not alone. We are all in this together and everyone experiences pain, loss and the recovery from it. [I’m] still in the thick of dealing with this loss as it was recent and all the emotional trauma that follows such a loss in an already horrifically hard year.”
Catelynn Lowell Claimed Only Cheyenne Floyd Reached Out After She Shared The News
As Us Weekly revealed, Catelynn previously told them that Cheyenne Floyd was the only “Teen Mom OG” cast member that reached out after she shared her heartbreaking news.
“She was like, ‘I’m so sorry. How are you doing? I’m here to talk,’ and we would message back and forth,” Catelynn explained. “For her just to ask, ‘Are you OK?’ I was like, ‘Wow.’ I just let her know how important that was to me that she really reached out just to see how I was doing.”
