One of the latest topics that Kodak has been trending for his how he deleted his tweet from November of how he’d donate $1 million to charity within one year of his release if he is in fact freed.
Now, his longtime attorney, Bradford Cohen, is shutting the noise down on social media.
Bradford Cohen Defends Kodak On Instagram
Cohen took to his Instagram feed to address how “a statement promising something for something in exchange is not appropriate. He also explained the other recent charitable donations that the Pompano Beach rapper has made.
“Instead of harping on a young black man and how much charity he does, why don’t we take a look at the amount of charity the writers of these articles do….last week Kodak pledged 100k to setting up a scholarship fund in the name of Meadow Pollack, the week before he donated 50k to barstool fund to help small businesses. That’s 150k and he’s been out 5 days.”
Kodak Hasn’t Spoken On The Tweet Yet
Kodak hasn’t personally addressed the $1 million donation controversy, but he appears satisfied with everything that Cohen said on his behalf. It also seems that both of the two are very irritated with the fact that Cohen blasted journalists in his Instagram caption for Kodak deleting the tweet.
Cohen has been working legal cases with Kodak for over five years and has definitely come through for the rapper in many situations. Now, Kodak needs to focus on finally staying out of trouble. Kodak fans on social media has since commended the work that Cohen has done for Kodak.
Kodak Gave Back For The Holidays And For Small Businesses
There is a lot of truth to what Cohen has been saying about Kodak’s recent charitable donations, though. Some of the latest moves made by the Sniper Gang artist is helping communities back in Broward County. For Thanksgiving, Kodak spent $15,000 in order to give out 1,000 turkeys. This went down in Pompano Beach at the E. Pat Larkins Community Center.
Fans Are Supporting Kodak’s Prison Release Along With New Single
Kodak Black fans were very happy to see that he came home last week as it’s been a long time coming. Kodak was serving a 46-month sentence as others believed that his career would be over. Last week, he also released his new “Last Day In” single.
This is similar to what many rappers who get out of jail do with their “First Day Out Tracks.” This single was met with positive reviews as it came months after Kodak put out his “Bill Israel” album.
