Over the weekend, photos were published by the Daily Mail showing Erika picking up a little dinner with her makeup artists at a drive-through.
Despite being with her friends who do makeup, Erika looked a little less glam in the photos. She wrote an Adidas tracksuit with a pair of oversized glasses to hide her face. At one point, Erika showed a bit of food into her mouth while the cameras snapped a shot.
The fast-food run is a far cry from the lavish dinners she used to enjoy with her husband. It all came crashing down last year. As The Blast previously reported, Erika filed for divorce from Thomas after 21 years of marriage. She is demanding he pay her spousal support until a settlement is reached. The two reportedly did not sign a prenuptial agreement.
Thomas fired back demanding Erika’s request for support be shut down by the court. The case is still ongoing.
The divorce isn’t the only thing Erika is dealing with at the moment. Thomas is facing a ton of financial issues along with accusations he diverted his client’s money to fund his lavish lifestyle.
Last year, Erika and Thomas were named defendants in a federal lawsuit. The case was brought by his former clients who say he failed to pay them the entire settlement amount they won. The plaintiffs are a bunch of widows and orphans who lost family members in a plane crash.
In the lawsuit, the families of the victims trashed Erika for her role. They believe she helped embezzle the money. They wrote, “By receiving Tom’s money, creditors are accepting ill-gotten gains, which they know or should know was money collected by Girardi through criminal embezzlement of client funds.”
One creditor believes Thomas paid Erika’s entertainment company over $20 million in recent years. Further, “By all accounts, Girardi keeps engaging in fraud and deception in order to support a never-ending spending spree by himself and Jayne.”
Recently, Erika moved out of her $6 million mansion she lived in with Thomas. The Blast first reported the reality star is currently shacked up in a very modest $1.5 million mansion
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star moved into a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 2,015 sq ft. home near the Fairfax area and Hancock Park. The property listing reads, “Elegant living room w/large barrel ceiling & bright arched windows. Kitchen includes Viking Double Ovens, Sub Zero Fridge, Thermador gas stove & sunny breakfast nook.”
Here’s to a better 2021?
