Kenya Moore and her husband, Marc Daly, have re-separated.
Following months of rumors suggesting the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” couple was on the verge of calling off their divorce, Marc released an official statement to The Root in which he confirmed that he and Kenya, the mother of his two-year-old daughter, had once again called it quits on their years-long relationship.
“After recently attending mediation, Kenya and I have agreed to end our marriage,” Marc announced on January 23.
Marc Daly And Kenya Moore Will Focus On Co-Parenting Their Daughter
“I will always have great care for her and look forward to amicably continuing to co-parent our daughter Brooklyn with an abundance of love and wisdom,” Marc continued.
Kenya and Marc welcomed daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly in November 2018, just over a year after tying the knot. Then, in September 2019, the confirmed plans to divorce.
“As always, in addition to perpetual self-improvement, my primary focus will continue to be helping the underserved and people of color in Brooklyn to recover from the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic,” Marc added.
Marc Daly Has His Sights Set On His Business
As his statement continued, Marc revealed that in addition to focusing on the co-parenting of his daughter, he would also be putting his energy into his restaurant business.
“This focus will take shape through using my restaurant as a ‘Community Hub’ where positive and diverse perspectives on important topics such as economic empowerment, social activism and political engagement can be highlighted in a safe and productive forum,” he shared, adding, “I’m blessed to be a positive change agent for not just my family but also my community.”
Kenya Moore Spoke Of A Reconciliation With Marc Daly In May 2020
In May of last year, amid rumors of a potential reconciliation with Marc, Kenya told Hollywood Life that they were doing “great.”
“I’m just taking one step at a time,” Kenya said at the time. “We have a lot of work to do and whether or not our marriage survives and everything, it’s only God that knows that.”
During the same interview, Kenya confirmed that she and Marc were co-parenting their daughter from separate states.
“He’s in New York. We FaceTime him every day. Co-parenting is amazing,” she gushed.
The Distance Was Hard For Kenya Moore
Kenya then added that it was difficult being apart.
“It’s hard because it’s been months now and it’s a little sad because he’s not here with us and Brooklyn really misses her dad, so for me, I can’t wait for it all to be over so our family can be reunited,” she admitted.
To see more of Kenya, Marc, and their family, don’t miss new episodes of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 13, which air on Sunday nights at 8/7c on Bravo.
