Conor McGregor took a loss Saturday evening at UFC 257 when he suffered a knockout in front of the world, and Jake Paul did not miss his opportunity to take a brutal shot at the MMA star while he was down. Jake Paul took to social media minutes after McGregor was dealt the devastating flurry of punches from Poirer that caused referee Herb Dean to stop the fight in the 2nd round. Laughing uncontrollably about the situation, Jake Paul addressed his prior offer for McGregor.

"Hey Conor! I got $10,000 for you .... catch! Cash money," Jake Paul posted on social media while laughing like a maniac into the camera.

He mockingly added, "Ahh ... you had $50 million!" The YouTube star turned boxer is referring to his recent push to land a fight with The Notorious Conor McGregor and claimed to have had $50 million put into a holding account if the UFC star were to sign the contract. After McGregor's loss at UFC 257, it seems the purse has been significantly downgraded.

After the fight on Saturday evening, Conor McGregor was extremely humbled and respectful during his post-fight interview. He gave Dustin Poirer props, as the fighters are now 1 for 1 in matches against each other, and admitted that he was not as comfortable in the ring as he wanted after such a long time since his last fight.

"I'm gutted," McGregor admitted.

Meanwhile, Jake Paul is riding high after coming off a recent victory against former NBA star Nate Robinson, and he has announced another fight in April. It's unclear if McGregor's defeat will make the fight with Paul seem more appealing, but it's possible The Notorious signs up seeking some immediate redemption.
