Jason Derulo Handcuffed By Police Following Massive Brawl In Las Vegas

Singer Jason Derulowas detained by Las Vegas police after a massive brawl inside the ARIA Hotel & Casino.

According to multiple reports, Derulo was involved in a fight inside a Las Vegas casino after someone mistook him for singer Usher. Footage of the fight is being circulated online, and it clearly shows him being led away by police following the incident.

The incident went down early Tuesday morning inside the ARIA hotel, where you can hear a group of men trolling the singer by yelling, "Hey, Usher! F--- you b----." Immediately, Derulo sprints towards the person responsible for the dig and starts throwing punches in his direction. In one video, Derulo clearly connects on one haymaker punch and knocks a person to the floor. It's unclear if this is the person responsible for yelling at him prior to the brawl. There are reports of a second person being "slapped" by Derulo, but this doesn't seem to be in the fight videos.

In the footage, the group ends up on the floor of the casino, with several large men holding Derulo down on the ground. It appears one of the people might be his own bodyguard.

Unfortunately, it appears the Las Vegas Police Department was called to the scene, and the video shows Jason being led away in handcuffs away from the scene. According to one report, the two alleged victims didn't want to press charges against the singer -- so, it appears he wasn't arrested for the fight. It should be noted, the person punched on video has up to a year to decide if they want to press charges. Plus, there is always the possibility of a civil lawsuit.

The victims didn't require hospitalization but suffered minor injuries to their faces. Derulo was ultimately tossed from the ARIA, and given a trespassing notice. In other words, he isn't welcome back in the casino...for now.

At this point, Derulo hasn't commented on the massive brawl, and it's unclear if any other incident sparked the nasty fight. We are guessing another incident might have led to the person calling Derulo names, and ultimately having punches thrown.

Interestingly, several fans online are defending Derulo over the decision to fight the person trolling him. "Never thought I’d ever be proud of Jason Derulo until now," one person wrote. Another added, "So glad [Jason Derulo] handled those racist jerks. People think they can say anything. Well, they both got their racist a---- handed back to them."

Again, it's unclear if the victims are going to file any sort of lawsuit in this case, but it appears Derulo has been released from police custody, and won't face criminal charges.
