Simone Biles confessed her love for NFL star, Jonathan Owens on Live TV!

The Olympic gold medalist appeared on the "Today Show" and spoke very candidly about her love life on January 22. She was interviewed via Zoom by Hoda Kotb and they talked at length about the delayed Tokyo games but the host had a more interesting topic to discuss with gymnast. Biles seemed caught off guard when Hoda confessed that she thought her boyfriend was "so cute!"

The gymnast's face lit up with excitement at the mention of her Houston Texans star BF. Hoda noted that she has interview Simone several times over the years but she has never seen her this happy.

"He's a real man," Biles said when asked why they are so good together. "I love him, we have a great time together. Our personalities match right up, we have the same sense of humor, and he's just great!"

Owens is a safety for the Texans and he was thrilled when he was called up from the practice squad multiple times this season. The team finished with 4 wins and 12 losses but at least Jonathan had a good year (just joking, he's a team player).

The greatest gymnast of all time continued her joyous comments about her relationship with Owens.

"He's an athlete too, so we really understand each other and I think that's why our relationship has been seamless," Simone told Hoda.

"He also has a bulldog, so besides him being a cherry on top, that was really amazing and our dogs get along well."

Not Shy

The two lovebirds have not been shy about their affection for one another... at least on social media. They went IG official back in July and have been all over each other's feeds ever since. Every Sunday, like clockwork, Simone would share a pic of herself routing for her man from the stands at home games or from her couch if he was out of town.

After the last game of the season, she posted a special message dedicated to him and his work ethic. "year 3 in the books, couldn’t be more proud of you," she wrote on Instagram before he quickly replied, "You motivate me to go harder ❤️🤞🏽."
