Wendy Williams’ brother Tommy Williams is still airing out the talk show host’s dirty laundry and accusing her of hurting their father by not attending their mother’s funeral.
In the new video, Tommy says Wendy lied about why she couldn’t make the funeral. He says their dad was “hurt” by her actions. Tommy said her actions were “not right” and “painful” to their small family.
Tommy said Wendy can spill any tea about him that she wishes. He told the camera he wasn’t afraid of his celebrity sister and her platform. He said he will continue speaking out about this until she corrects it.
Back in December, Wendy announced the news of her mother’s passing on her talk show. She told the audience her mother Shirley died “beautifully and peacefully” while being surrounded by “love.”
She added, “My mom passed away many, many, many, many weeks ago. You know how you lose track of the day and time? All I know was it was a long time ago. The five of us, my mom, dad, my siblings, the five of us — she will always be here.”
Wendy said, “She didn’t suffer, not one bit.” The production company behind her show released a statement revealing Wendy would be taking time off to be with her family.
It read, “Next week, The Wendy Williams Show will air repeats to allow Wendy to travel and be with her family at this time. The show will return with original episodes on Monday, January 4th. Debmar-Mercury extends its deepest condolences to Wendy and her family.”
Recently, Wendy’s brother Tommy Williams released a video accusing his sister of not attending their mother’s funeral. He noted that Wendy’s ex-husband Kevin Hunter showed up.
Tommy said, “What makes somebody not go to their mother’s funeral? I don’t understand not giving a salute to the one person who was always there and showed you support. I don’t get how you can just move on and act as nothing happened.”
After he came out publicly, Wendy decided to address him directly on her show. She spoke to the camera telling her brother, “Tommy, let me tell you something right now — all you are is my brother. You better stop talking the way you’re talking because now it’s dripping into my comment page.”
She added, “He’s pegging me to be a person I am not. Honey, you don’t want me to start pegging you to be the person that you are — with full-blown receipts. I could fill the audience with receipts with the leftovers all the way around the block.
“You are my brother, let’s keep it that way. If you want to talk on the internet then you talk about the things that you think you know about yourself. You don’t want to talk about the things I know about you … for sure.”
