Bruce Willis is not having a good go of 2021 if recent media reports are to be believed. And the trolls and the memes are on, because the “Die Hard” star forgot to wear a mask in a public place.
Apparently, you can be an action hero and a responsible father of five girls, and still forget to #wearadamnmask.
Twitter is on a roll, a bigger one than Instagram and the memes are piling up even though Willis has acknowledged it to be a mistake. Here’s the dope…
Willis Asked To Leave Store
According to a report by Page Six, Bruce Willis stepped into a Rite Aid store, dressed in a black jacket, a striped T-shirt, jeans, and a bandana around his neck, minus the all-important mask.
The employees at the store got upset and asked him to leave and Willis quietly walked away without making a purchase although he could have pulled the bandana over his face. As Twitter put it, that was one “bada**” worker.
This despite Willis promoting mask-wearing, along with his lovely wife, Emma Heming Willis a few months ago.
It seems Willis is facing some quarantine fatigue.
All Masked Up For Santa
This is the Moore-Willis Christmas card, so posted by the delectable Demi Moore and it shows all masks with adequate social distancing in place. It looked way too good to be true, which is why one fan had to quip, “Do you guys watch Die Hard? Lolz”.
Willis can be spotted here as well, second on the left, with his mask in place. Clearly, while he makes a cool show about masks on social media, he seemed to have forgotten to do so when the paparazzi were around.
Long enough for this picture to hit the media…
Needs A Tom Cruise Talk?
Pretty recently, Tom Cruise made the news when he spotted someone on his crew not wearing a mask, and apparently yelled the house down on them. While some did say that was a bit too harsh and could have handled things better, others were right with him, saying it was warranted.
And now social media feels that Willis could do with a Tom Cruise rant, as one comment read, “Maybe Tom Cruise needs to have a talk with him. Just like Tom did with the staff for the movie he is filming!”
Meanwhile, “Die Hard” memes abound on Twitter.

Willis Called It An Error In Judgement
The 65-year-old actor has made a statement to People Magazine, saying “It was an error in judgment” and urged people to “Be safe out there everyone and let’s continue to mask up.”
The public is still not very happy with him and leaving comments like, “Seriously people? After a year of a global epidemic, it is a shame that at this stage people should be asked to put on a mask”.
Meanwhile, Twitter is full of memes, wondering if the name of the movie franchise should be changed to “Die Easy”.
Here’s another gem!
