Dr. Tiffany Moon appeared on the January 12 episode of “Texas Today,” where she opened up about her decision to join the cast of “The Real Housewives of Dallas.”
One week after making her official debut on the series’ season five premiere, Tiffany admitted that when it came to joining the Bravo show, she felt the decision was a “little naughty” and out of her comfort zone.
“My whole life, I have been a rule-follower,” Tiffany, who came to the show as a friend of D’Andra Simmons, admitted.
Tiffany Moon Joined The ‘RHOD’ Cast For Herself
According to Tiffany, her life as a child and growing into an adult was very by-the-book.
“I went from first grade, got my MD, went to residency, got married, had twins. I was 30-years-old,” she explained.
So, when Bravo approached her in hopes of adding her to their cast for “The Real Housewives of Dallas” season five, Tiffany knew it was her chance to have some fun.
“This opportunity came along for me to do something for myself. So I was like, ‘I’m going to do it. I’m going to be a little naughty,’” she recalled.
Tiffany Moon Has Received Mixed Opinions On Her New Role
After taking on the position on the “Real Housewives of Dallas” cast, Tiffany said that those around her had mixed opinions about her doing so.
“Everyone has their own opinion. Some people think it’s unprofessional or, ‘Why would you expose your family like that?’ And then some people love it. There’s the haters, the lovers, and everyone in between,” she joked.
In addition to drawing attention to herself on Bravo, Tiffany is also a big star on TikTok, with hundreds of thousands of followers.
Tiffany Moon Had Drama With Kameron Westcott During ‘RHOD’ Season Five
When Tiffany was asked which of her co-stars she experienced issues with during filming on the fifth season of “The Real Housewives of Dallas,” the doctor said that she butted heads with not one, but two of her co-stars.
“There’s always drama to be had. There’s a little bit of drama with me and Kameron because I try to make her do something she was uncomfortable with and then Kary and I have different opinions of what a fun night out are,” she explained.
Tiffany Moon Believes ‘RHOD’ Drama Is Unavoidable
During the “Real Housewives of Dallas” trailer, which was released last year, Tiffany was seen at odds with Kary, who seemed to suggest that she was put off by her know-it-all demeanor. Either way, Tiffany said that the drama between them was unavoidable.
“When you put six or seven strong-minded women in the same room, there are going to be differing opinions,” she explained.
