Britney Spears is playing hide-and-seek and doing it bare-legged from a stunning waterfall. The 39-year-old princess of pop turned her Monday night Instagram share into a bit of a Where’s Waldo as she posed dwarfed by lush settings, with the “Circus” singer seen in her element as she both embraced nature and teased her 27 million+ followers. Britney, who closed 2020 by hiking a waterfall pipe, updated much closer to the water last night, and she was looking happy, healthy, and in the mood for fun. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photo. Britney, who regularly shouts out a time-gone-by feel, had posted solo and from a giant waterfall backed by staggered rocks, plants, and trees. The Grammy winner was, effectively, barely visible amid the massive backdrop, but she was all there, seen seated in her trademark tiny shorts and wearing a gray t-shirt and sneakers for a leggy finish.
Britney, who threw in a ton of emoji, opened: “I bet you guys can’t find me ???? !!!!” See the photo below!
Britney continued: “I’ve always wanted to take a picture by this waterfall ⛲️ and it seemed so freaking cool in my mind but I had to crawl through all the bushes to sit on the perfect rock ? !!!!!!”
If you don’t live inside Britney’s Instagram, it goes a bit like this. Anything she says or does gets slapped with a “queen of,” with the top comment now reading: “Queen of waterfalls.” Of course, the pop culture references were also alive and well, with the star told she’d “confirmed” a TLC collab.
Britney made headlines ahead of the holidays for a power hike showing her killer legs and a little something unusual. Posing by a waterfall pipeline, the mom of two told fans:
“Yes …. that’s me doing my waterfall hike walking on pipelines !!!!!!! PS …. don’t try this at home folks ??♀️⛰? !!!!!”
The headlines come amid wider ones that continue as Britney fights 68-year-old dad Jamie Spears in her 2008-commenced conservatorship, one that sees over 12 years of the singer having her finances completely controlled by her father.
See her backyard snap below!
Britney’s conservatorship, sparking the #FreeBritney movement, spiked in news last year as the singer fought out her father in court, with the legal blows landing one after the other. The conservatorship was extended on account of the global pandemic, but Britney did score a small win in being permitted to extend her legal team, also seeing her mom legally file to be involved in her daughter’s affairs.
Britney, meanwhile, has tapped back into music with the December 2020 release of her “Matches” collab with Backstreet Boys.
