LeeAnne Locken looked back on her departure from the “Real Housewives of Dallas” cast during an appearance on the “Poplitically Incorrect” podcast on January 4, just one day prior to the series’ fifth season premiere.

While LeeAnne was accused of making racist comments to co-star Kary Brittingham before announcing her exit from the show in February 2020, she said she has just one regret.
“The only part that I really regret is that the audience never saw that I was a reactionary person. You never saw me go at somebody and attack ’em. That never happened. I was always poked or prodded. You can’t back me into a corner and expect a rabid dog not to react,” she explained.

“Getting to share my wedding with the viewers last year brought me tremendous joy, however, the season was very personally challenging for me,” she continued. “I am looking forward to stepping away from the cameras and spending quality time with my husband and friends, traveling, but most importantly, getting back to philanthropy, which was my main reason for joining the show.”
