Lil Wayne has found himself in more legal troubles after his security guard changed his mind about not pressing charges in the gun brandishing case that happened in December.

According to new reports about the case, the security guard is pushing to prosecute the rapper.

Lil Wayne's Security Might Charge Him For Assault

Per TMZ, the guard is having a change of mind and switching his initial recount of the incident that went down. The unnamed security officer claimed that Weezy hit him in the face and head during the altercation and might file an assault charge.

It's uncertain what's making the guard backpedal, given he was the one who called the cops when things got heated and stated he didn't want to press charges against his boss.

However, sources believe that the case against the "Lollipop" rapper would hold no weight as authorities haven't been in contact with Weezy since the incident went down because of some inconsistencies in the guard's side of the story. Nevertheless, a decision to press charges can undoubtedly change the tide of the investigation.

The A Milli Rapper Flashed An Assualt Rifle

As we previously covered about the story, Wayne flashed an AR-15 at his guard on December 6 at his Hidden Hills home when they got into a heated argument.

The 5-time Grammy Award winner got physical with his employee due to allegations of taking photos of Wayne and distributing them to the media without his permission.

It was said that when the security guard returned from the toilet, he saw a noticeably upset Lil Wayne, and things got intense. After the argument, the guard left for his home and called the police to report the incident.

At the time, Wayne's team denied the allegations, claiming that the rapper didn't even possess any firearm. However, the guard maintained it happened but said he wouldn't press any charges. Also, there were no visible injuries on his body.

A Previous Federal Gun Case

For the Young Money Entertainment founder, this is not the first time he has been involved in a gun case. As you might know, in December 2019, he was caught with a loaded firearm in Miami while descending from a private jet.

The rapper was set to face ten years in prison was set to be sentenced in March 2021. However, Wayne was luckily pardoned by former President Donald Trump in the last days of his regimen alongside fellow rapper Kodak Black.
