Most of the Colorado wildfires were extinguished after heavy snowfall on New Year’s Day.

However, there is some bad news.

Two people have been declared missing.

One is a 91-year-old grandmother named Nadine Turnbull.

She had been living in Old Town Superior.

Her family described how they were trying to evacuate the house, which was engulfed by flames.

A cousin made it out a side door, but firefighters prevented her from going back in.

The cousin reportedly suffered burns on her arms and legs.

“It’s difficult, difficult not knowing,” her grandson-in-law said. “[We’d] much rather know.”
