“I’m not studying to be a minister or anything even close to that. Have no desire for that this is fake news,” Justin wrote, alongside a screengrab of one of the news stories.
He continued, “And BTW Hillsong is not my church…For clarity, I am a part of Churchome. Church is not a place. We are the church. We don’t need a building to connect with God. God is with us wherever we are.”
Justin’s reaction comes after multiple media outlets shared OK!’s report that he is becoming a past. “Justin doesn’t plan to give up his music career, but he feels there’s a bigger calling out there for him,” the outlet claims, Adding, “He wants to be a full-fledged minister next year.”

Justin’s response comes on the heels of the church coming under some fire after one of its leaders was fired for issues including being unfaithful to his wife.
Pastor Carl Lentz was let go by the Hillsong, and reportedly checked himself into treatment for ‘depression, anxiety, and pastoral burnout.’ At the time, the magazine connected the two issues saying Justin believes he can ‘take a leadership position’ and help restore order.
Turns out, Beiber is distancing himself from Hillsong and denying he is working with the church in this capacity. Cleary, however, Justin is a very spiritual person and will continue to share the word with his followers.
In the report, the outlet claimed, “Justin has never felt happier or healthier, and he says he owes it to the church,” and pointed out that Bieber and his wife, Hailey Baldwin, had also received religious counseling from ‘Hillsong’ Pastor Judah Smith.
Interestingly, after denying the report, and claiming it was fake news, Justin shared a religious message with his millions of followers, saying, “The creator of the oceans and mountains also created you! You are a part of the plan, your life matters, he sees you! He’s been patient with you as you ran from him awaiting your return! He’s not mad, he understands.”
