Britney Spears Is The Original In Unbuttoned Shirt From Backyard

Scroll for the photos. If you don't live inside Britney's Instagram, the account caused a stir through much of 2020 as the singer repeatedly posted snaps and videos of herself staring deep into the camera and from outdoors, with today doing the same.

The photo showed Spears shot close up, backed by trees and sunlight, and looking stunning as she semi-smiled from her eyes, also rocking a white shirt with buttons undone, plus a pearl choker necklace and her blonde hair down.

Keep scrolling for more photos. Britney, who had clearly been having fun with filters as her three shots all offered different ones, captioned the first with "The original" and three red rose emoji, also seen in her other two images.

The snaps, which come as Spears continues to make headlines for largely suffering legal blows amid her 2008-commenced conservatorship, follow the mom of two both marking the New Year and, in late December, Christmas as she wrote: "HO HO HO...MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! GOLD BLESS YOU ALL!!!"

Shortly before the New Year, Britney appeared in another of her legendary home dance videos, this one particularly skimpy as the bombshell danced in tiny shorts and a lacy bra while reflecting on 2020.

"As you all know .... 2020 was a challenging year for us all … thank you to my amazing fans that have given me so much support !!!! I’m grateful for you and thank you !!!!" she wrote.

Britney was in the news just before the holidays as personal trainer boyfriend Sam Asghari confirmed he'd tested positive for coronavirus. The Iranian took to social media, confirming that his healthy lifestyle was getting back on track, writing:

"2020 has been a crazy/twisted year for all of us. Recently I tested positive for Covid-19, I was lucky enough to catch the news before being around and infecting my loved ones (friends, family, significant other)."

Sadly, Britney did not get to spend Christmas with sons Jayden and Sean, although she is reported to have had an "early" Christmas with them.
