Larry King Reportedly Hospitalized Suffering Complications From COVID-19

Larry King has reportedly been hospitalized after suffering complications due to COVID-19.

The legendary broadcaster is fighting the virus in a Los Angeles hospital, and the 87-year-old television host's poor health is putting him at a much-elevated risk. It's unclear exactly how bad the situation is at this point, but like many people suffering from the virus -- his family and friends are unable to visit him.

Doctors and nurses inside the hospital are reportedly facilitating some communication between Larry and his family.

According to Roger Friedman’s Showbiz 411, Larry is obviously having trouble fighting the virus due to his many current health issues, and has been there for 10 days.

As you know, in the past few years King has suffered from a heart attack, prostate and lung cancer, and type two diabetes. As we reported, King's also going through a divorce with his wife, Shawn King. In 2019, the broadcaster filed to end his marriage just five months after suffering from a stroke.

The announcement comes on the heels of reports a mutated version of the virus is popping up around the country -- which is 70 percent more contagious than the current one.

Larry King's Family Unable To Be By His Side...

This has been a very tough year for the talk show host, after losing two of his children in the span of a month.

According to reports, last summer Larry's son Andy died in July, in what the family believes was a heart attack. In August, King lost his daughter, Chaia, after she battled lung cancer.

At the time, King's granddaughter revealed to the legendary host was still recovering from his store and due to Coronavirus was unable to attend the funerals. Instead, he watched his sons on video from Los Angeles.

Larry's family has yet to issue a statement on his current condition, but everyone is hoping he gets well soon!
